Tough call. Gibson had to come in as does Fellaini. Would liked to see Oviedo keep his place but could we really drop Naismith after scoring our last couple of goals.

It's disappointing for Oviedo, but I can see the logic in keeping Naismith in the side. We're suffering from not killing teams off (ignore his fail of a pass to Jelavic against Norwich), and he has a bit of a knack for popping up in the right place.

Assuming Gibson is up to pace, it's a strong side. Gibson has to come back at some point, I think we can get everyone fit and firing the better. I'm happy Hibbert is back in, we need to tighten up. (Here's to him not cocking up now I've said that)

Up the Toffees.

Oh, and the big man is back! - one game away was too much :D

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen (c), Koscielny, Arteta, Wilshere, Giroud, Walcott, Ramsey, Cazorla.

Arsenal subs: Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Coquelin, Jenkinson, Gervinho, Gibbs, Mannone.

ramsey starting - nice *koff superstitions if he does something, i know what you want to happen now i've written that. early goal vital

Is an early goal really that vital? We'll drop deep and invite them onto us for the rest of the game and very likely concede. I want us to get at them all game and ffs, finish our chances!

I can see us winning this with some ease, everyone should be up for this and I think a few things will click into place tonight. When was the last time we beat Arsenal comfortably!:o

Exactly this.

An early goal to us and we're not winning.

On recent form at least.

Big, big night for Pienaar. Get him back to somewhere near his best as well as Fellaini dominating and I think we can win this. Arsenal have a very good team but we shouldn't for one second be afraid of them. We've got some very good players ourselves and should be looking to win this.

COYB!!

no podolski for them tonight , not even on the bench . big plus for us that . its going to be one of those famous goodison tonight , i fancy us .

Midfield is the worry for me

Arteta,Cazorla and Wiltshire are very good players, We need to dominate in that area to win tonight

Oh and stop defending like [Poor language removed]
