Of course.
There's every chance we'll come crashing back down to earth against Villa.
And people who call naysayers knee-jerks for losing their crap over singular defeats are hypocrites if they think one win suddenly makes us der best team in der werrld lerd.
I'm encouraged though. Moyes has clearly changed a few policies and we were playing some quality football tonight. I do think we were a tad lucky not to concede after essentially playing with every man behind the ball for 30 minutes, but to be fair we've got a sensational defence so perhaps we weren't lucky there.
Let's see though. A good start (gasp) but it's just the first step.
I agree. But like the user above said, we were also unlucky in not getting a few more. A good start could mean great things.
I think one thing we can all agree on is that we love it this time of year. Bring on more football and more Everton victories!
Called a number of goal kicks for us in the last 20 mins, a lesser ref might've given them as corners9/10 for the ref (Marriner) booked Nani and Scholes early and set a standard that no one else got near.
At a time of such awful officiating it is only right to say "job well done" when the man in black gets it right.
