I know it's exciting, but lets not have any knee jerk reactions. It's one famous win in a 38 game season. Just relax and enjoy the ride.

Quote from The Mirror

"Poor Michael Carrick may never recover from the experience. Pressed into service as an emergency centre half, he will probably suffer nightmares for the rest of his life about a giant afro stalking his every move. It was like living a Mighty Boosh sketch."

Had me in hysterics!

Of course.

There's every chance we'll come crashing back down to earth against Villa.

And people who call naysayers knee-jerks for losing their crap over singular defeats are hypocrites if they think one win suddenly makes us der best team in der werrld lerd.

I'm encouraged though. Moyes has clearly changed a few policies and we were playing some quality football tonight. I do think we were a tad lucky not to concede after essentially playing with every man behind the ball for 30 minutes, but to be fair we've got a sensational defence so perhaps we weren't lucky there.

Let's see though. A good start (gasp) but it's just the first step.

RFUS, you're right we could have conceded in the last few minutes but we could also have scored more, hit the post, bar, and two decent saves. Over 90 mins, we got more than them. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,

Hope Fellaini never leaves us, But more performances like that and clubs will come knocking down our door with big offers

"We were the better football team, they had eight shots on target and De Gea did very well for us in that way," he told MUTV.

"But we had the possession and made some great openings without actually finishing it.

"That was the only difference. These shots on targets the goalkeeper did really well.

"Other than that we played good football, good combination play, on another day we would have won the match."

On another day it would have been 3-0 ... And I haven't seen any great opening, the only close call was when jagielka nicked it off the line but that was just some clumsy action and nothing special from ManU.

We only had those chances at 0-0. I knew as soon as we got 1 we'd defend it like our lives depended on it.

It's better than playing for a draw, like, but had United got past our 11 man defence they'd have been odds on to get a second.

All I'm saying is that it was risky. It paid off though, so aside from the few blues who probably had a stroke enduring the last 30 minutes, no harm was done.

I think this facial expressions covers all of us tbh
