Righto, just got back. Jelavic off for Barkley is one that boggled the mind, especially when you consider how badly Osman was playing. Perhaps he just noticed there were 2 strikers on the pitch and we can't be doing with that nonsense.

Crap game but job done.

Didn't know about RS score until just now when taxi driver told me, kin' 'ell.

why are people saying we played bad? we dominated it and 3 or 4-0 wouldn't have been too harsh on fulham. we just lacked that finish in the final 3rd mainly because we had 1 striker on zero confidence and another who isn't a prolific goalscorer.

I don't think either team played well enough to say they dominated mate. We were clearly the better team but the game was s***e.

Just noticed that we're 11 pts clear of 8th, and a massive 17pts clear of 9th placed Swansea.

The gap between us in the top 7 and the rest of the league is huge.

It's often not noticed due to our focus on getting into Europe, but we've made huge progress over the past few years. That, and the rest of the league is getting worse!

Fulham / Jol seem to like narky right backs, I recall Ritter at their place getting in all sorts of niggly kicks and pushes, feigning injury etc. today's example was just as bad.

As for us, good enough is about as complimentary as I can be. Osman is either carrying an injury or out of sorts which is the norm rather than the exception. I truly hope a promoted team offers us 5m or so for our experienced, England Int'l. Osman should not play in the Derby ! Hope Gibbo is back, we need him and Felli in midfield for the ****e.

Jelavic is just disastrous to watch now, more disruptive than contributory.

Thought Pienaar was our MoM and good for him, Pienaar hitting form in time for the ****e is exactly what we need, I can't see Glen Johnson staying on the pitch.

Hope Felli finds his scoring touch soon.

Chico, your previews are fantastic, a great read for any football fan anywhere......BUT.....pictures of Mullery? FFS.....he is the crapping anti christ! Not on here please! Otherwise it was Pwoper fair son.(y)

Been so unbelievably busy of late (sister got married) but still watching. Hope springs eternal. Haven't given up. Great win, and think we are going to make it go down to the wire. Sad to not be posting more often, but wanted to stop by and say hello.

I thought the Ref had a great game APART for not booking Osman earlier, which would have seen him sent off. Lets face it, wouldn't have made much of a difference with how Osman is playing.

MOTM was Anichebe for me, looked hungry, challenged everytime, won a fair share against Hangeland and Senderos which isn't easy, laid the ball off plenty.

I thought Pienaar was average myself, defensively did great, but slowed the attack down every single time and wouldn't release the ball quick enough at all, always trying to do too much.

Jelavic poor again, Mirallas dangerous as usual, Fellaini indifferent, sometimes very good, sometimes too casual (as usual) and gave the ball away.

A couple of sloppy moments in defence really could have cost us though. Fortunately we 'held on'

I thought we played some very good football at times, and just generally very comfortable throughout. Should have been at least 2 or 3-0 really.

Pienaar & Victor played well, as did Coleman, Jags & Distin. Everyone else average with Felli & Mirallas doing well to almost find the net. Ross did okay when he came on, should've scored though.
