Happy enough with that. 3 points, no injuries and plenty of gears still to go through. Fulham were never really in it, and if they'd managed to up their game, we had plenty left to up ours.

Barkley showing real signs of being a player. Once he's fully up to the speed of the Premier League he'll be boss

Today again highlighted the need for the purchase of a quality forward this summer. The movement, anticipation, technique and passing from Jelavic was dismal yet again. Anichebe was slightly better but he should be an option within the squad, not the leading striker.

The inevitability of Osman being overrun by Liverpool next week is almost enough to force me into tears.

Coleman was brilliant, as was Pienaar. Baines and Mirallas were also a lot sharper than last week against Sunderland.

spot on mate Mirallas needs to start LM against the RS he tore them apart there last time and with Johnson getting forward he has the pace to catch them out, would have pienaar on the right and hope to god Gibson is back to replace in the centre, I did say barkley shouldn't start but behind the striker with gibbo and felli behind he should do okay, I would play

Howard

Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines

Pienaar Gibson Felliani Mirallas

Barkley

Anichebe

That's the team I'd have next week too mate. You just know Moyes will shoehorn Osman in though, who was yet again utter ****e.

good win but you can see with the small squad we have and no money spent in january
players are on there last legs.

what ever money we do have in the summer it has to be spent on a striker, i'd give Jelavic another season
but sell Anichebe and ossie, .

whats it with moyes and strikers after a good enough season they all turn to sh.t the next season
even Beattie scored a few his first season, but like the Yak,Andy Johnston, Saha, they all go down hill
after 1 season.

i think Beckford got a raw deal Anichebe will never get into double goals for a season Beckford did and got
the door. so what ever money we get we need a striker who will put the ball in the net.
