The only real conclusions that we can draw from that match are that Florida in summer is an awful place to have a football match.

While that was utterly crap, I wouldn't worry too much. Hot, lots of travelling and hard training, lads just getting to proper fitness and everything.

Hopefully we'll be greeted with a better performance against Betis on Sunday though.

FT.

Hoping Martinez chalks that one off as an experiment gone wrong, because that was painful. Poor way to end the tour, Valencia very comfortable in the end.

We also looked very laboured from the get go, as if third gear wasn't an option. Probably a combination of travelling, heat, and just general tiredness from a number of the players.

Good preparation for the season overall in terms of the opposition we faced, but both the tournament organisers and the staff at Fox were utterly hopeless. I don't want to offend anyone, but it's been a poor show from the Americans overall really.

Why is Gibson getting pissed off then cause he doesn't know what he is meant to be doing. The commentators mentioned it that he wasn't happy about it last game as well.

Maybe gibson was fuming with himself for giving countless balls away ... He was being marked maybe he should of moved instead of being rooted to the same spot

Though it is only a pre-season game, I find it rather alarming that I don't think Valencia's keeper made a single save... Very disappointed

not impressed at all. our play in the final third is sub standard and gets worse each game it seems.
i can hardly think of more than 4 times we have troubled a keeper in the whole 3 games in this tournament. crossing set plays shooting all non existent .
we kick off the season next week and tbh i dont think we are ready in key game play elements. we have a few things right but we have lost that spark in attack.
this pre season the transfers in have been as useful as a chocolate sword in a desert gun fight so far.

When we start the season, we better not to make unnecessary change in the lineup every game. I don't care if everyone get playing time or not. I just want Everton to win every match.

Like I have just said the commentators said Gibson wasn't happy last game against Real as well as he doesn't know what his role is on the pitch. But he did play crap then.
