Their little streak recently has been points catching up with performances, they've been playing very well since before Amorim got sacked weirdly

I mean Amorim’s last 4 games, Wolves, Leeds, Burnley and Brighton, they didn’t win any and were pretty rubbish in all of them. The four games following that they were unrecognisable. Won all 4 playing a formation that actually suits them.

Amorim being a nut stopped him from completing what was becoming an impressive turnaround. That and the weird United culture where they can’t have patience with anything and 15 ex-players swear they know best on how to set the team up. But yeah you’re right, they’re a truly good side that almost certainly ends up in the CL.

Personally think it was almost entirely down to Amad and Mbuemo coming back from AFCON and Bruno back from injury. United don’t have any depth still.

They had been rubbish with all those playing though.

Different attitude, different formation (Bruno back playing where he needs to be), extra legs of Mainoo in midfield..

Hopefully however, the honeymoon period is over as they still have weaknesses in every department.

Aznou as a left winger is the worst shout all year, why not just play Patterson instead of O’Brien.

The first XI is a very good side. The weaknesses are when those players aren’t available or are subbed which isn’t the case from the start here. Tough game for us.
