I'd agree Mykolenko isn't a linchpin but I disagree that Garner isn't. None of the other midfielders we have are anywhere close to his level of ability or well-rounded skill set.

KDH is probably who I would choose to put next to them but I don't even rate Merlin Rohl. He's only played about five minutes total.

I think the drop off from Garner to Gana (I’d argue Gana is still better but I don’t actually want to deal with that fallout) Tim, and KDH is negligible.

That’s a fair opinion I think, for me Tim at his best is extremely good but he hasn’t found consistency. Hasn’t played enough to do so.
