Absolutely f…ing raging. Come all the way down from Scotland going to end up spending well over a grand and that’s the team he’s picked. Square peg round hole FC.

Gutted for you with that team, though you never know.

A win with that team would be a top night out.

Its 310am for me and im struggling to stay awake. If he'd put out an exciting team i may also not have managed to stay awake.

I'll have to watch the 90mins tomorrow.

Hope it turns out to be a good trip for you ;)

Has to win with that team selection. He’s inviting criticism.

Keane and Gana in the team, Branthwaite left back, Armstrong out wide, KDH at 10, Garner out of position. Just ridiculous.

So many players out of position.

Theres literally none of us thinking that he's performing a tactical masterclass is there?

Is it simply that we think hes gone for negativity and 0-0 and hope to sneak a draw by putting in a defensive minded set of players compared with any others available?

What even is it? A back 3? He can’t be playing a back 4 with Branthwaite left back and Garner right can he? He’s absolutely lost the plot.

Thats not the worst for me.

Hes gone with Keane.

Hes gone with Gana meaning KDH is 10.

Hes paired Gana with Irooegbunam.

George has been dropped so weve lost pace.

Theres nothing i can see which says hes trying to win a game of football.

Surely the last few games performances with daft selections should have led to him being sensible...but no.

Team obviously bizarre

Also have to question why the correct team sheet has been floating about online all day.

It would appear that one, or more of the players or coaches have had enough with these team selections based on madness.

This simply HAS to work otherwise he is going to have some serious explaining to do in regards to that team selection as there is no real need for so many out of position.

No one asks the questions though.

Hes had so many questions to answer all season and no one has called him out.

I really hope it doesn’t go that way, but that lineup seems much more about trying to stop them, than giving them something to stop! Garner is our best right back imo, but he’s needed in midfield much more than he’s needed at right back. I don’t see Armstrong as a winger. Branthwaite is our best centre back, he isn’t a left back! It’s like Moyes likes certain players more than others, and he’d rather play those out of position than bring in alternatives in their natural positions. Having said that, he’s already proved me wrong on more than 1 occasion! It’d just be nice to feel like we’re going at the opposition from the start rather than seemingly setting up to nullify them!

My main concern with Moyes in recent weeks is we are not building anything for the future here. Unbalanced teams, players out of position, some young players clearly not trusted, and we aren't trying to play any football. Even Armstrong who he does select is now apparently a wide player?

There comes a point where we have to ask is that what we need longer term as a club if we want to actually be good again at some point. I'm not even sure it's doing us any good in the here and now either.
We are not building anything or even trying too, even though we have an almost fully fit squad. I can only think there is a realistic possibility that we will shake his hand and move on at the end of the season.

3 full backs on the bench, 1 left out of the squad altogether and none on the pitch…
3 wide players on the bench, a 19 year old centre midfielder playing wide…
One of your 2 best midfielders at full back…
Best centre back at full back…
One of your 2 best midfielders nearest the striker…

From a squad with just one starting wide player unavailable and one attacking midfielder who would have been lucky to get 5 mins at the end dropped/injured…

Is this the best use of a squad? Time will tell but it doesn’t half look confused and points towards a manager who needs less squad options, not more.
This is a manager who has run out of ideas and is flailing wildly. Going back to what he knows KTAP1. Players picked for how they’ll stop the opposition. Try to keep it tight and score a counter attack or set piece. Half a game plan.

Cheers man 👍🏻 Looks to me like he’s set up to not concede a goal. Might be one of those where we nick a one nil but am fuming! 😤

Even if we somehow get a result. There’s no future in playing this way. Garner isn’t a long term right back, Branthwaite doesn’t want to play left back, Keane and Gueye shouldn’t be here next season. It’s surely not the long term plan to not have two wide players seeing as we’ve bought George and Dibling.

Ok yeah if we scrape a win tonight that’s a good result but it’s roll the dice time again for the next game selection wise. There’s no continuity.
