I’ve been a season ticket holder for just just shy of 40 years….how about you?

I ‘d consider myself a very “middle of the road” Evertonian. I’d say I’ve been more patient than most. How long should we wait?
Wanting us to be better than we have been for the last three to four decades isn’t that much of an ask is it?

I’m guessing you are in your 20’s to 30’s and don’t get to as many games as you’d like. Would that be a reasonable assumption?

Some poster stated is that is all the new owners are interested in for income not team progression into Europe etc as Roma theor parent club is mainly their aim ? - but they stopped the club from going bust IMO ?

Last night I went through Gate 1. Away fans go in the same way. They have a walkway segregated by one of these

Arsenal came out singing, as is there entitlement, and we were all side by side with the above barrier inbetween. One young Blue reached over and pushed one of them and the temperature rose. Many verbals exchanged between supporters as we all shuffled on .Just 10 yards further on, there is no dividing barrier at all as we queued to get onto Regent Road. That needs addressed and easily so by delaying the away fans leaving.

He doesn't take 90% though does he? And to get an assist someone needs to put the ball in the net and our strikers simply aren't very good at that.

KDH and Grealish create more chances but that's to be expected given their more attacking positions on the field. For a deeper lying central midfielder then Garner's output, in terms of chances created (17), is pretty good when compared to similar position players in the league.

But he won’t be here after next year. If the ‘committee’ identifies a player with talent then he may well support them as a club signing but may not necessarily think they are ready. We had to buy squad men this summer. I’d put Aznou in the category of low risk potential for the future.
Dibling is a different case, but as I said earlier, is he doing everything possible to earn the chance? Seems Moyes has suggested not previously. He will start games this season but I’m more bothered about the next 2-3 years as he clearly isn’t ready yet.

Moyes has not suggested anything about him. People read into his comment on McNeil training well that Dibling was not. Dibling has not been able to be No1 on the right wing for an obvious reason. Now the player should get some game time. It is abysmal he has had so little when we knew Afcon would happen.
McNeil was likeable and useful in the past but is clearly not the future. As there is no chance we are in danger Moyes should bed Dibling into the team.

I’ve not read the quote so appreciate that.
He’s been unlucky that Ili has been so good in most parts this season but yes I would have expected more game time. Next 5 games are huge for the season. Will be interesting to see who plays when/where.

The current affairs thread created animosity mainly the same click it's creeping back mainly some ties in the alehouse, but like you I think James Garner is a well like EFC player on this forum & I appreciate him & hope he signs his contract....
