A very disjointed performance I thought.
We had a few moments but Arsenal looked like they were in 2nd gear and could have upped the tempo when needed.
There was a moment when Rhol broke forward, on about the 83rd minute and we had 6 or 7 players standing across the half way line, not one of them busting a gut to get forward. The type of thing that is unforgiveable. Regardless of who we are missing, that is unacceptable.
I've tried to see the good in Barry, and I've backed him in his own thread, but he is not the answer.

Tim played well up against Rice who is top drawer.
Charlie ran his socks off, gave the ball away a few times as he does, but his work ethic is unquestionable.
I thought these two played well.

Beto’s movement here, or more accurately lack of, caused me to go apoplectic. His play recently has been horrendous.

Think I'd have focused on the fact that Tim is being discussed in the motm bracket now which is a huge leap in his development, he's starting to look a player

I like him I just didnt think he was great.

They’re top of the PL table and top of the CL table with the best defensive record in both competitions, they’re multiple levels above us at the moment even with a full squad available, never mind with 4 of our best players missing.

The next 4 games will tell us more about where we are at.

Watched it in a snooker club and I was shocked how little intent we showed and there was no real urgency to our play at all. Arsenal just has a stroll about passing sideways and backwards mostly and knew we'd not lay a glove on them. Saying that it's another scandalous non-award of a penalty when Barry was taken out on his one on one chance so in a game with nothing much going on we could of got a point if VAR wasn't so ridiculously biased in favour of the 'big' club

Wasn't a pen that challenge on Barry, IMO.

But Arsenal just had total command of the middle of the park and Moyes couldnlt see we needed to get 5 in midfield to combat it.
