Do they consider the appeal straight away? Or do we need to wait until next week for another hearing? If he gets the work permit today will he be available to play against Burnley? I'm sure he'd only start on the bench at best if he was.

I'm not sure, but on FM you usually have to wait a few days(n)

I thought that if the work permit was granted then it's a done deal and he's available to play. Some poster on nsno believes the hearing is 2pm. So about now. And i've always though you have to wait a few days for the appeal hearing, but I may be wrong.

right, going away to liverpool this weekend, so cant keep a look out 24/7.. expect banega , the russian winger and taylor to be signed and playing burnley.

Any news on how this work permit hearing went??

  • the appeal isn't today
  • the appeal was today and it failed
  • the appeal was today and it was passed
  • the appeal failed but there's a second appeal
  • the appeal succeeded and was then successfuly appealed against which was the subject of a counter appeal which itself can be appealed.

You missed the following option:
  • there never was a hearing because there never was an application - it was a hoax signing promulgated by the Board to molify the near-rioting fanbase :o

I had him down as brooding Latino, Victor Sifuentes, doing a lot of "pro bono" work for pauperised football clubs.

I imagine he graduated from Princeton with a PhD in Soccer Sociology and entered Harvard Law, where he finished top of his class. After refusing several offers to join a number of firms in LA, New York, Boston and DC, he accepted a place in the hood - in Warrington - working for Thistlethwaite, Lambshank and Lordy (for this was an offer of a a partnership).

Everton boss Moyes eyes Spartak winger Bystrov after Banega swoop | Mail Online

Everton have targeted flying Spartak Moscow winger Vladimir Bystrov after securing a work permit for Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.

There were concerns over Banega's application because he has not played in 75 per cent of Argentina's international games over the last two years, winning only three senior caps so far.
But Manchester sports lawyer Chris Farnell (AKA Lordy) successfully argued for the permit to be approved during a hearing at the Premier League HQ.

Banega, who struggled to settle in Spain after a £15m transfer from Boca Juniors 18 months ago, will now move to Goodison Park on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent deal next year. Boss David Moyes hopes to finalise a £9m deal for Bystrov.
