Tell you what mate if you had had a better start you would defo be in the top 4

Between getting smashed on Sunday before and after the match we were saying that man for man Everton have got the best players out side the (Lets call it the Top 3 ) and the best Manager by a mile

Do you reckon you could still get top 4 ???

Nah Nev lid, I reckon we'll finish eighth.

Something is bound to happen, it always does.

Finishing above them in 7th and denying them Europe would a super scenario, so super I refuse to contemplate it.

Not really we would have to go flawless for the rest of the season. Not impossiable but highly improbable - we will get a European place which will be a great return with the injuries we have had - Villa, Norway, City and Spurs all have tough run ins.

I think the titles yours nailed on - Chelsea picking up bad injuries - Arsenal likewise - while you are getting good fresh players back.
 

I dont know as getting 4th is beneficial to any of the teams chasing it tbh nev, whoever it is will be in an early qualifier, so a banana skin minefield really, cos if you dont get in the groups then financially it's not worth any outlay that you would gamble on to compete.

we arent ready for c.l. although I'd love us to get that 4th place(more to stop others and keep up the fact that we are the only ones to do it recently), but then folks would get all furious about not spending gazillions to mount a serious challenge.

I said to a citeh fan last night, that they took more points from us at the start of the season with the lescott business than they have from the games, without that we would've been where they are (despite the massive injury list we had).

I just dont want any of the teams in the mix to get it really, and looking at fixtures unfrtunately the r/s could benefit from us going on a march, although they seem to think that they arent going to drop many points, which what they are basing it on god only knows. I just hope that the david guest lookalike keeps his job.

onward and upward & at the moment finish above the r/s, with them hopefully missing out on even europa league.
