Apoel aren't in the Europa, they came bottom of their champions league group.

Standard liege got through with a 95th minute goal against AZ, give us them, revenge is a dish best served cold(and we could tap up a few of there better players too)

As the [Poor language removed] lost tonight they, along with us, are not seeded. This means we are both due to play our home legs first on thursday the 18th of feb(i think). I cant see the police letting that happen so what way is that gonna work?

Full list of teams we could face with unconfirmed but likely's in brackets:

Unirea
Juventus
Wolfsburg
Marseille
Ajax
(Valencia)
(Hamburg / Hapoel Tel Aviv) really could go either way
Sporting Lisbon
(Roma)
Galatasaray
Salzburg - these have been sh-it hot, hope it was just a dodgy group
Fenerbahce
-
Shaktar Donetsk
PSV
(Werder Bremen)

Think I'd quite happily take Unirea, or the Hapoel / Hamburg winners

here's hoping the [Poor language removed] get Benfica or the dark horses from Salzburg and get annihilated...

But as a Champions League dropout, won't the [Poor language removed] be guaranteed a game against a Europa group runner up (apart from us at this stage)? Obviously as a reward for being crap in the champions league. (God this competition is daft.)

2009?10 UEFA Europa League - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The group winners, along with the four better third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage, will be drawn against the group runners-up and the other four third-placed Champions League teams. In this round, teams from the same group, or teams from the same association, may not be drawn with each other. Group winners and the four better third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage play the second leg at home.

They where the 5th best placed team.
