If, admittedly that's a big if, UEFA dish out the groups for the draw as equitably as possible, as I just did with a simple cross check whereby the seeded teams are loaded 1,2,3,4,5 and back 10,9,8,7,6 to make each group equal in strength (they do do this frequently but tinker a bit to avoid some same-nation clashes between seeds and non-seeds) - then, take this with a pinch of salt.. I predict our possible opponents to be:

FC Oleksandriya (Ukr)
Progres Niederkorn (Lux) or AEL Limassol* (Cyp)
Trencin (Slov)* or Bnei Yehuda Tel-Aviv (Isr)
Sturm Graz* (Aus) or Mladost Podgorica (Mne)
Vaduz (Lie) or Odd* (Norway)
Arka Gdynia (Pol)

But, like I say, that depends on UEFA not shifting the groupings around a great deal and putting us in pot 3 with these seeds

Galatasaray (Tur) or Ostersund (Swe), Sporting Braga, Astra Giurgiu (Rom) or Zira (Aze), FC Sion (Swz) and Shkëndija (Mkd) or HJK Helsinki (Fin)

Dan have you worked the country protections into that? For example Cork City won't be drawn against Mlada Boleslav as they can't play Shamrock Rovers, and neither will they (we) be drawn against Apollon Limassol as Larnaca can't play them.
I'd give my right testicle now to see Everton vs Cork City come out of that bowl. There could only ever be one winner, but we would have some two nights in Liverpool along the way

Yes, I did.. if the 29 seeds (or the alternates) are just drawn 1,10,11,20,21 (Group 1) and so on (4 lots of 6) and then from 30-58 (the non-seeds) there weren't any real problems moving a few teams about. But we're talking UEFA here so no doubt they'll mess it around a bit.

Would be great if we could stuff them 5-1 at home and then put a few reserves on for the 2nd half over there and give them the good kicking we (and Mikel Arteta in particular) took in the return game. Red and yellow cards all round (mind you Villarreal weren't much better in the 2 friendlies we played them either).

Looks that way.

Not a massive problem though. Assuming we know what day our away leg is going to be on, you just need to pencil book hotels and, then make a call on flights. I'm hoping we end up either in Greece, Cyprus or Croatia. A week in the sun with a footie game as well sounds ace.

I've been thinking. I've jotted a few things down and worked out all the permutations of our possible qualifying round;

I've come to the conclusion that we will be drawn against the most difficult available teams at every round.

At first look I thought that was a RAWK it's our year formula. Then realised it's nowhere near complicated enough.
