We had an A.E.K. Fan on here before the cup final.

Hello from Greece.
I'm an AEK fan and I also support Everton in England.

Some things about tickets etc.
Prices are a bit higher than said earlier.
For example in yesterday's game the cheapest ticket was at 25 Euros, there were at 40 Euros (for the stands in the middle) and there were some at 70 Euros (near the VIPs, I don't suppose you want to go there :P )

I don't believe that you will get in without any ticket. You have to show your ticket twice before entering. AEK is very organized in this. Unless of course you are going to barge in, in numbers.

I can't tell you about the attendance expected because it will the be near the end of the group stage.
For example if it was the first game I'd say about 40.000 or more. This means that any Greek guy can go and buy a ticket before the game in most matches. However I'm not sure that an Everton fan will be let to sit among Greek fans for security reasons. Although Greek fans have a bad reputation, this goes for domestic matches. There is not much history of trouble in european games (except when we were visiting the scum of Paris Saint Germain). You should be a bit careful (especially if you get drunk), but not any reason to fear for anything more.

As it goes for the team, last year was a terrible year for us. The next few days we will try to sign some more players to cover for our problems. Like Everton we sold our best defender at the last moment (Kyrgiakos to your rivals).

Welcome to GOT, mate. Thanks for the info. I think the group, with the exception of BATE, is a strong one. How do you rate your chances of getting through?

Im in Greece also rae.

Good to have you about. Im a PAOK fan unfortunately.

Our chances... Three years ago for example we beat Milan and Lille in CL group stage and lost the qualification in the last game (when Milan decided to use subs and Lille beat them). Unfortunately the team is not that good now. We rate ourselves as the third force in the group, but with chances to qualify because Everton and Benfica are historical teams with good players but not top european teams.

I believe the two first games will be crucial (Everton away-Benfica home). We got very talented players offensively (Argentinians Scocco and Blanco for example) and if they get their chances they will score.
I believe that our problem is in the defense area right one, although we will get another defender.

Can you tell me how many visiting fans can come to Goodison Park?
