France were that exceptional team...they just couldn't get their act together to be focussed.

They are head and shoulders the best in the world in terms of individual talent in all positions.

They have the potential to be exceptional certainly. Once it clicks for them they should be out on their own. Currently a decent team that is well organised can mug them and in a major tournament like the Euros, they'll come across at least a couple of those. I presume they are targetting the world cup as their main objective.

The Euros have always been an open competition. No surprise we have 2 of the 3 left in it who really aren't top class.

Look at the England team man for man. They really aren't exceptional at all. The two holding MFs are basically Championship players. The back four have mistakes in them when facing class opposition. The GK - I have no need to remind you - can unravel in an instant. The forwards are dangerous, for sure. But overall this is not a team to be feared. Denmark and Italy are both a cut above.

I expect England to fold tonight.

England 0-2 Denmark.

Actually a very realistic assessment of the England team. A lot of England fans would agree with that I think. Apart from the outcome which really could go either way IMO
