Every time you follow through with a kick your foot is high and out of control.
It was unfortunate and can see why it was given. Like I said, looked horrendous.
It looked to me like the Ukranian player was a week late going for the ball and the Swede had already kicked the ball away. So in effect the Ukranian kicked the Swede (kicked the Swede's foot with his leg to be fair). What's the Swedish guy supposed to do with his leg and foot, make it disappear?
Fair enough. I tend to think cards are given too quickly in the game now also but I thought it was a red. Maybe slow motion impacts my judgment more than I think.
