This is the key point of today. What kind of draw will England get? The last few have been very soft indeed - with practically the whole of the last Euros laid on at Wembley for them and still they found a way to toss it all away despite the heroics of Jordan Pickford.

I think England are, on paper, the second-best side this time. I'd like to see them earn it the hard way. I suspect a tough group would stand to them later on, and it is very survivable given three teams progress in four groups.

Nevertheless, I suspect it will be something akin to:

TRANSNISTRIA
THE ORKNEY ISLANDS

To be honest mate, there’s some good teams in every pot. Croatia pot 3, Italy pot 4. Obviously depending on the draw, but I think there aren’t going to be many easy groups, if any.
