The lords will almost certainly vote against article 50

If they did that they would be gone within a week; such a vote would be even more stupid than the one that resulted in their emasculation at the start of the last century.

MPs have a trickier ride; if they stand up to Article 50 now they will get steamrollered at the next election and UKIP would probably end up with between fifty and a hundred MPs. A more intelligent move would be to allow the Government to implement Article 50 conditional on the final deal getting Parliamentary approval.

We can only hope they will, but I doubt they have the courage to do so.

I think they will, then all hell will break out..........we could have just settled down, sorted out a decent deal and as a country moved on......now I feel that extreme voices will come to the fore and things will become a bit nasty.....this is not a clever position to be in, but hey it's what you wanted.......
