My read from that is a shortage of vets means higher rates for the ones there are. And with a vastly reduced portfolio of products to import, the importers will have to charge more for importing what's left to make up for the short fall. sunak and cabal have been banging on about halving inflation, could this timebomb of lied about bureaucracy torpedo their entire show?
The past 14 years have been bad, and the covid russian tag team on standards of living have made things worse again, throw in the full impact of brexit at last and who's all this going to finish off? Is this it, the race to the depths of despair has been won and now there are legions about to face the music?

You must be overjoyed @peteblue with the continuing bull given out by Boris and Mogg, yet more lies and personally I can't wait until you're Butler brings you're breakfast in with boiled ham on you're plate instead of bacon.... The cost to our Country and people continues to rise.

I've lost track actually of what checks definitely, really are going ahead from the end of Jan.

Versus that are being delayed again, this time until I read October when it'd be Labour taking the blame.

This may help, caveat more Brexit Tory procrastination's at short notice.

We are an independent country and the Department for Agriculture and Rural Affairs have, for whatever reason, raised the standards required for foodstuffs coming into our country. Meanwhile which farmers are blocking roads, burning stuff and generally causing mayhem ? …..

Apparently they raised the ‘risk’ factor on some goods from ‘low’ to ‘medium’ which then required vets, more paperwork etc…..

I think that might stem from needing to comply with WTO rules on not giving unfair advantage/competition.

I'm struggling to see how we benefit here.
