Hated paying the minimum wage? Why? Was it too much or not enough? If it wasn't enough, why not just pay more?

We no longer take orders from Brussels. We get to vote who we want to take our decisions….

What orders did Brussels make that you didn't like?

And you know we don't get to elect our supreme court judges or dare I say our dear King Charles....we elected MEPs and they in turn had a teir of bureaucrats just like those that exist in every UK government department...or the Bank of England.

Remind me please what elected office Nigel Farage currently holds?

We don’t have to comply with pesky EU environmental regulations and are now free to pollute our sovereign rivers and his majesty’s coastline, with raw British sewage whenever we want ?

The additional brexit bonus here, is that we no longer have to independently test and publish, contamination levels in our rivers and seas, meaning they are all super safe to swim in.

Huzzah, polio for the plebs and kerchink, bank that dividend cheque.

This is just standard stock answer from the Brexiteers, no? No actual substance behind it though is there.

The other classic one is "take control of our borders".
- I'll just let this hang, like the bad smell it is.

Too much reduced his customers to regulars - that's why the rich stay rich it was his terms of his lease that made his mind up he was going to close down before covid - then the heating crisis put the nail on his business - he spent approx 100 grand on his detached house perhaps a tax dodge as I used to speak to the occasional workman at his house & the work was duo at his restraunt & the work on his house was also booked to it etc on a smaller scale ....

He used to only employ local part time when he was busy from families in the area ......he offered me a free meal once with my family - I declined as I don't like Italian food - I grew loads of Basil for him in my polytunnel an age ago as it was easy to grow .....

So he thought that he should pay them less than the minimum wage? And he was a tax dodger too! He sounds like a typical Tory...

I don't, plus I knew the would be strings attached when I Yong I did a few gardening jobs for him waited ages to get paid or he offered me items ....that I needed .....in those days he had a Porsche ....every two years .....as a fun car .....

He also has an apartment in Italy which one day he will retire to .....
