Had to give up my U.K. license after moving to the eu. I’m glad that I had to go through all the bureaucracy and hassle and pay out a load of cash though in order to stop people in the U.K. getting conscripted into the eu army.
Is a small sacrifice

Reading into this, looks like Brits were able to swop to a Spanish license during the transition period. Guess some people were caught out by timing and others didn’t bother.
The Spanish authorities are by no means blameless in this mess but many people caught out would be entitled whoppers.

Like I said just sit the Spanish test, British immigrants need to get on their bikes and just get on with it rather than moaning. Spain are sovereign country they could ask all potential immigrant drivers to go Rwanda for their theory for all I care.

I believe the UK government is paying the Rwandan government quite heftily for the privilege of housing the prison.

So much so that it needed ministerial direction to circumnavigate the "benefit to the taxpayer" civil service criteria.
