I think Vlad will also take Odessa with a maritime assault from Crima. Combined with his invasion of Eastern Ukraine this will give Russia a land corridor to Crimea and also effectively land lock Ukraine.

Ukraine will stand alone. The US will provide them with weapons and intel but not much else. NATO will be too busy safeguarding their borders in Poland and the Baltic’s to assist.
