senior Labour MP claiming this proves how out of touch Corbyn and McDonnell are with the core Labour vote
Bizarre claims, the damage was done by the New Labour governments not doing enough for the deindustrialised communities.
Yes, but older voters have lived for longer, and are wiser/more experienced. Therefore, they are more likely to take the right decision. I say this as a student myself.
You could legitimately also argue they are more likely to be senile and still think the Empire exists on that basis :p

Interesting one. There is a school of thought in Modernist History that there has never truly been revolution in this country on a scale of others due to our weather - but that would be rendered utterly bunk if you could tangibly link Leave with the storms! Train chaos as well today, all contributing factors I suppose
Agincourt, Salamanca, Waterloo. all won after a thunderstorm.
Corbyn already being blamed.
Ally Campbell. Lovely man.

Find it very unusual when people say this. With the Internet, social media, more TV channels etc. there's more information available now than ever, and that's all within seconds. Clearly young people use these platforms a lot more.

I understand that older people have more experience and maybe even wisdom, but you could equally say most people over 65 have retired, aren't in education and don't socialise as much as young people therefore are maybe a bit out of touch.

I actually think young people are making more considered and informed decisions than the older generations based on those I've spoke to, but that's just conjecture of course.

The weather in the North was much better than the weather in the South East - I wonder if this will have an effect on the final result - if so it would favour Leave.
