True, the result - either way - could theoretically be overturned, but having given the electorate a referendum... Only a complete lunatic would ignore the result and plough their own furrow.

If the country votes Leave, the best Cameron could do, assuming he isn't immediately ousted in a Tory bloodletting exercise, would be to fight like crazy to gain some serious concessions from the EU and blooming quickly.

Rightly or wrongly, he would have to major on the free movement of people within the EU and he'd like as not get the bums rush on that from Brussels.

There is a school of thought in Modernist History that there has never truly been revolution in this country on a scale of others due to our weather - but that would be rendered utterly bunk if you could tangibly link Leave with the storms! Train chaos as well today, all contributing factors I suppose

Yes, but older voters have lived for longer, and are wiser/more experienced. Therefore, they are more likely to take the right decision. I say this as a student myself.
