Sorry I don't know who Sarah Atkins is? Everyone knew there would be more paperwork involved. And some business haven't been able to prepare properly due to the late deal agreed. But as business become more adept in what forms are required hopefully these forms will become second nature.
The leader of the federation of small businesses was interviewed on bbc news yesterday. He said they are helping a lot of small businesses navigate through the new paperwork and it will cause problems for the next few months as businesses become compliant with the paperwork. He finished by saying once businesses get up to speed with the additional paperwork required by EU, as they turn to other markets around the world, it will be easier to complete the export paperwork required by other countries due to them being up to speed with their paperwork. Good news there.

Just what happens when you spin the process out as long as possible only agreeing at the very last minute so as to avoid scrutiny of your deal giving no one time to get up to speed with the resultant bureaucratic nightmare.

Think everyone knew the EU would take it too the last minute. It's the way they work

The fishing industry in are now finding out what putting your faith in the Tories amounts to. From previously 24hrs from landing your catch to it being on plates in mainland Europe and now 5 days minimum and £500+ a day in paperwork costs eating away at their profit margin.

Last paragraph seems to contridict the rest of the article saying

Fishing trade bodies said mistakes in filling out paperwork meant entire consignments were being checked. A French fishmongers’ union said numerous seafood trucks had been held up at the customs point in Boulogne for several hours, and even up to a day, due to faulty paperwork.

You learn from your mistakes so the more they do the paperwork then they will get it right.

And Nicola sturgeon. Hope the Scottish fisherman don't put their faith in her
