basically then you have know figures just guess work?A lot but not as much as immigrants pay in council tax, income tax and national insurance contributions. And allow the government to claim there are record numbers in employment.

The leave camp did thats all what mattersI don't know how anyone can see past this.
The economic business would happen any way if you produce goods that are in demand they will sell you do not need a political union to dictate to you how it is done! It's worth remembering that the £8.4 billion contribution generates £73 billion worth of economic activity in the UK per annum which makes it a pretty good investment.

we export less to them more than we import from them!
yes but having the choice the USA has is better than some of the restriction the EU imposes on us!Of course you import more...you will always import more.

Does that include all in work benefits TBF I have never seen any listed as yet I have never ever seen any DWP figures pass them by me as that £1.12p is probably just tax and NI contributions from migrants not the consideration on what they gain from the DWP"More recent research exists
This research has since been updated, but the figures largely aren’t equivalent to the ones quoted above.
The latest findings estimate that recent immigrants from the 10 countries that joined the EU in 2004 (mainly eastern European) contributed £1.12 for every £1 received. Those from the rest of the EU put in £1.64 for every £1".
Not quite guess work.
Yes seen that Google were saying the British will do well past brexit as we have a heritage of great inventors, they are opening a base which may end up our own silicon valley, it's better looking positive as the dye has been cast IMO!Because the only place I have seen that analysis has been on here. The whole campaign was based on utter tripe, from both sides.
But the simple equation now is can the UK still generate the £70 billion plus EU generated business from different deals and such like. Personally, I think its a maybe.
For example, London has a massive French population, 6th largest "French" city in fact. They have a thriving design/media/IT presence in the city, and I would be astonished if our new status, (still an unknown remember), would be struck to negate the positive aspects of our past membership.

They didn't 'see past it', they just completely glossed over it.
Made bogus claims and blamed the woes of the Nation on immigrants.
The right wing press jumped all over it, here's a few examples of the kind of thing I'm talking about.

Substitute the word Migrant for Jew and roll back to Germany in the 1930's.....
The amount of money that goes from the UK exchequer to the EU is £4.3 billion plus VAT £2.5 billion = £6.8 billion. Not £10.1 billion.
