Unless I had all the information/documentation before me, I would not even begin to proffer my thoughts on the matter.

Unlike a lot on here, who have spouted for three and a half years constantly on what will happen and who have not a single clue as to how the future will shape up.

Having strong Irish descent as recent as grandparents (McCormick, McConnel, Waldron), I have been saddened over the decades to see Irish people tearing themselves apart. I have been heartened by how things have shaped up in recent times, and sincerely want to see whatever harmony there is, continue and hopefully improve.

I don't know whether this is a satisfactory answer for you, but it is what I offer, since you requested.
So your stance has changed from "I'll just play my music" to "until I have the full facts before me, I have no idea"? And you based your vote on that kind of knowledge? Did you not consider the position of your grandparent's country before voting? I wonder how many other people just guessed, like what you did?

I appreciate you trying to answer, incidentally. We never got that far last time.......

I'm still playing music (beautiful Gibson Les Pauls, and a Taylor acoustic), and I did not guess.

It's still heavy in here tonight. One might say as unrelenting as ever.

And I mentioned 3 of my four grandparents. The fourth's parents were from somewhere else altogether...

It is an odd turnaround isn't it. From 'I'm just here for the fun and humour, have a stupid song in response to a well presented/researched argument' to guardian of facts and accuracy seemingly across the course of the week.

I'm no guardian of facts and accuracy. I don't claim to do so in the political sphere. Read your posts re 'facts'.

The fun and humour ended quite some time ago with all the abuse dished out by Remainers in this thread. Hope you feel smug and self-satisfied.

Yes. Bizarre, but at no point did reality affect neither their argument, their explanation, nor their vote. I congratulate the Brexiteers in pushing a lie, voting for a lie, and continuing the lie in government. Look at the Irish border solution. There isn't one! A total lie!
