Then why are all our Universities full to bursting? Money large student debts with no job at the end ...My daughter did a degree as academically she was brilliant she then paid for a masters - she is now 30 years old to get to a management job earning £19.5 k with a massive student loan to pay back ... in Edinburgh - My son apprenticeship in Microsoft IT server engineer earns the same salary with nothing to pay back in a cheaper cost of living area.... plus if his firm goes bust he will set up self employed ......also I have supported my daughter to the tune of % 5 grand over the years to help her .....

The trick is to look which jobs are highest paying and then do a degree in that, the whole point of being academically briliant.

As a society we now debate the truth or facts like it’s their an opinion. I used to think it was bizarre now to be honest it’s scary and incredibly illustrative .

It's different for different people, I looked at the highest paying jobs and what degrees were needed and then chose one that fit me.
You then need to speak with someone in that profession and figure out Which route is best to take to progress in that job.

The problem is no one tells you anything and leaves you to figure it out on your own.

I think it more likely that Pete considers the French and Germans as inferior people to us.

It’s been driven by an obsession with faux balance by news outlets.

The job of journalists is to report the news and challenge anything that’s factually inaccurate.

However, we’ve somehow ended up in a place where we have endless ‘debates’ around the news by those with contrasting views.

So you get a climate change discussion with a professor of climatology on one side and Nigel Lawson or one of his Tufton Street employees on the other, and they’re somehow given equivalence. As if the latter has any genuine expertise on the subject, and isn’t just some paid shill, gob on a stick.

It happens every day on seemingly every subject.
