That's how ignorant you are it's a multi billion £ business ask the Dutch...
Do many of those leaving Oxbridge or Russell group universities become horticulturalists?

The figures suggest that Imperial graduates, on average, in their first year earn £38000 and Oxbridge leavers around £33000. I've just had a quick look at experienced horticultural jobs and the highest paid seem around £30000.

"No one in the country is going to thank us or think more of us if we behave churlishly in defeat and frankly the challenge of making Brexit work is sufficiently important for our nation, that we cannot afford to be absent from it.

"Britain is a great country. At our best, we are a great people. Our history shows us what our future can be. Time to embrace it."

Tony Blair today

We have wasted three years tbh, with moaning, obfuscation, back stabbing, political chicanery ad infinitum. But the election brought it all to a glorious halt. We now have a strong government, we have got rid of many duplicitous Remainers and we are now leaving. Hopefully by the end of 2020 we will be out completely.......
It is when you chuck in words like "duplicitous" that you exasperate people. 48% percent did not vote for it. Pretty much half the people you meet. Sometimes you are more Richard than Peter

If coal mining is such a profitable endeavor then why is there not a clamour of mineral extraction businesses lining up to dig out and sell this black gold?
Too dangerous with the mines being flooded gas can accumulate if you want the history try and find the two part documentary of Britains last coal mine in Sheffield and how Osborne and Cameron sold them down the road ...it was about 20 miners management have t and coal face workers plus trade skills engineers electricians used their redundancy package to keep the best seam of black gold open as a private pit with a rail link of the best coal going to a power station ...
They used specialised machsnical cutters to cut into the coal face and striaght into the coal trucks not even touching the black gold - they met Osborne & Camerons targets on delivery to the power station ....
Those two barsweds decided to close the contract , and buy it in from Columbia.......try and watch it heartbreaking stuff....

I was referring to politicians, Hammond and co, not the general public.....

That's because the migrants keep the wages down. Keep up bookworm.

Then why are all our Universities full to bursting? Money large student debts with no job at the end ...My daughter did a degree as academically she was brilliant she then paid for a masters - she is now 30 years old to get to a management job earning £19.5 k with a massive student loan to pay back ... in Edinburgh - My son apprenticeship in Microsoft IT server engineer earns the same salary with nothing to pay back in a cheaper cost of living area.... plus if his firm goes bust he will set up self employed ......also I have supported my daughter to the tune of % 5 grand over the years to help her .....
