No 10 Sources saying Johnson will call the EU direct to try and ensure no delay is offered.

Which would mean he's broken the law by deliberately frustrating the letter he sent.
Any name attached to those sources or is it just another bit of spin to deflect attention from another likely embarrassing defeat in the Commons this evening?

No and you're probably right, which of course brings up another point - why is outright lying tolerated. But at this point, after the Leave campaign, we all know there's barely any political benefit from telling the truth these days.

Oh, and I think they'll actually win the first vote tonight, then possibly lose the second.

Every PM has done it, Labour and Conservative, some more visible than others, Alistair Campbell anyone.......

Nowhere near the same thing, Peter.

The majority of the press here is openly hostile to Labour leaders. in and out of Downing Street.

If it was Corbyn or any other Labour leader overseeing this Brexit fiasco he or she would be pilloried.

Even the one Labour PM whom wasn’t constantly traduced in the press, Tony Blair, eventually became a hate figure fir them after Blair’s disastrous Iraq war decision.

The press do not scrutinise Tory leaders the way they do Labour ones.

And you know it, Peter.

This is one of those instances where perception is wildly different to reality. There is scarcely a region of the UK where the foreign born population exceeds 10% (London being the obvious difference). Incidentally, for Joe and all the other 'we need points based migration man..." people, the biggest reason non-EU migrants come to the UK is for family, whereas for EU migrants it's for work. This is also the government who put a limit of 1,000 visas for the most highly skilled, despite non-EU migration being consistently around 300,000 per year. These are the fools you think can 'manage' migration.
So
“We would answer to nobody but ourselves”

The American healthcare insurance companies say hi
Yes, I agree with you. That is why I said whatever government is in charge they seldom have the every day persons interest first and foremost in their list of priorities. This current Govt, under a No Deal scenario, would attempt to turn London into a deregulatised Singapore while the rest of us would feed off the scraps. A Corbyn Govt would fight for the average Joe. Unfortunately he'd make us bankrupt in doing so!

It would be the mother of all popcorning if the Sinners ricked into Westminster and helped vote Boris’s deal through lol

As they'd have to swear an oath to the Queen in order to take their seat, I'd suggest this is pretty unlikely.
