What gets forgotten is the bottom line “it’s not a done deal”. This from the Speaker, wife’s car or not, is a disgrace...If his wife had been a Leave supporter would he have driven her car with a “Let’s get a deal over the Line” sticker ?....

I have to admit that I have a grudging respect for Pete and wouldn’t put him on ignore. We are totally polls apart on our political views and will never ever agree on them but over the years posting on here on subjects not including politics we’ve got along just fine .... I can’t speak for Pete myself but I’m sure he wouldn’t disagree.

He didn't, the government did when they tried to rush through their particular interpretation of brexit without a majority or consensus.
Bercow's merely upholding parliament against those trying desperately to circumvent it.
