Good, if true.

At least someone has the stones and duty to call this out for what it actually is.

There are two types of people voted to remain in the EU. There are 'Remainers', who were disappointed in the result but accept the democratic vote and there are 'Remoaners' who stretch logic every which-way to make out that they actually won. The resemblance to RS fans is remarkable. They, also, 'never lose' and come up with all sorts of weird reasons why they should have won. 'Let's have a replay'. :bye:

Not at all mate, with respect. I dont want a 2nd vote, I dont want a GE, I hope we sort it out thats good for the UK.

I just dont think they will, and many leavers dont seem to care.

But lets be frank, no one voted for a No Deal outcome did they? Do you honestly think that if Farage, Davis, Johnson et al admitted it was a possibility 3 years ago, you would have "won"?

Not that it matters if you are honest enough to answer truthfully. You won. Well done.

Is this like a two types of Leave voter thing: Brexiters and Racists

I think we'll all probably lose, just some will hail it as a stunning victory.

-and there's loads of folk against a hard Brexit who voted both 'remain' and 'leave' ages ago.

I think long term, we will look back at this period of our history with some bemusement, because like leavers say, everything will be fine and dandy. Ish.

Its the short to medium term risks to many millions of people that I am more concerned with. Basically, I dont think the risk was worth it for the baubles of change the leavers think they are actually getting in return.

Then there’s people like me, who are disappointed in their fellow citizens for voting for something led by a racist and archaic narrative

Also funny that the 4 most vocal brexiteers on here are 60+ and have absolutely nothing riding on the vote. Markets might go up or down, jobs might be lost, house prices may crash but we're ok Jack.

I was musing this the other day. All this cash that has magically appeared to pay for the chaos has to come from somewhere. So lets say we half the state pension and double tax on any private pensions on 1st November to help us all out eh?

Reckon they will go for that. Taking back control and that.

That tbh would have been a brilliant way of getting them in the game with some actual consequences. You can have Brexit but if the economy shrinks, your pension will too by the same amount. Share the risk and rewards to see how much they really don't like foreigners. :)

It was a comment from one of our resident leavers that got me thinking. He would not like a recession, but he was ok, and would feel for people affected by it, but long term all would be sound. Sort of anyrate.

Ok pal, you share the pain directly. I will feel sorry for you as well, but all will be ok long term.

As though 'Leave' would've gone quietly....
