Correct. I do not get it. Why someone who has posted that his reason to leave is because "I dont like it", is happy to VOTE for a No Deal.

So, guilty as charged.
almost as bad for voting to remain for not understanding what the vote was about.

I don't buy the lies that boris and farage spout either, your making it out as if I was persuaded personally by them to vote leave.

So we are back to "I dont like it" then?

Thats fine. I voted remain cos I didnt know what would happen. You voted leave cos you didnt neither.

I think we can agree we were both right on that?

a lot of them think by pointing out 'facts' about us staying in the EU we, the leavers will just change our minds and thank them for showing us where we are going wrong.

thing is, I dont think voting leave was wrong then I definitely think it was the right thing to do now after seeing what happened in parliament. these politicians are so desperate to safeguard though own personal interests they are willing to totally undermine the will of the people who voted them in.

disgusting

This is a key point. If May was concerned about the country she would have resigned. This grubby bunch of career politicians need throwing out to earn a living doing actual work........

it really is.. like ive said before im more than confident that our country will be able to work through it and come out stronger than before , its what we do.

and cheers, im already enjoying doing something abit out of the norm for me. cant wait to actually get in a truck !
Let us all know what area you are in - so we can avoid the area Frank lol Only joking best of luck
Brexit will drag on .....

This really.....Remainers just don’t get it........
But but... Surely you must have changed your mind now you've seen they were all lies.;)

Pete, I disagree with you and Frank and Joey as regards a no deal Brexit. I do think it will be harmful to the country, at least initially, but nowhere near as bad as all the scare mongers will have you believe. But worse than that, I think it would just serve to divide the country even more, in much the same way as staying in the EU would.

I believe the only long term solution to this is for a compromise on a softer Brexit. Nobody get's everything that they want, but neither side has fully lost either. May's deal is about as hard a Brexit as we're likely to get without a complete change of personnel in Parliament. The likelihood is it will need to be even softer to get the support it needs from Labour to pass through parliament.

I actually don't see it happening short term and reckon we'll be going back to the EU requesting a further extension in October. A general election this year, or early next year, is likely to bring an even more hung parliament with the popular vote spread over 5 parties rather than just the normal 2. I can see this stalemate possibly lasting for years.

The argument is most of them have outside jobs mainly in law and the markets..... Gideon had 7 jobs In my job if I was caught moonlighting = the sack....... they should never have any jobs its called conflict of interest......

No Bruce read my post MAY doesn't mean it's going to happen, if it does its wrong - for instance you may win the lottery next week .........
its paper talk as its a bank holiday sod all to write about imo.......
Your laughing at the important topic you posted Bruce - where you upset when Scottish Citizens, working and living in the UK could not vote in the Scottish independence referendum -
Scots living outside Scotland, including the approximately 800,000 living in the other parts of the UK. were not able to vote.......
two wrongs in your case do not make it right!
I agree if a EU member has been here for a considerable length of time paid taxes, and NI why should they be refused a vote?
Obviously it would need to be sorted out, but to deny them a vote is harsh imo if they meet any fair criteria set down by the UK government....
