What happens if they don't come up with an agreement?. I'm not saying they won't and I hope to God they do. But they haven't done very well in that regard so far have they?

The way I'm thinking, the ERG can smell a no deal now so any support May had from them will disappear. So she's reliant on Labour/Corbyn support now. He's going to have to take off his opposition hat, and I'm not convinced he can. The next 24 hours will tell us one way or the other.

If it comes to an indicative vote I reckon it will be Clarkes, Boles and Mays on the table.

Another scenario is that the ERG/DUP take off the gloves and align with labour with a view to a GE.

They get what they want and Jezza gets his GE.

As for what happens next...I haven’t figured that out yet.

Soft brexit and an election on the cards, political move to drag labour into the brexit mire and share the blame for not getting anything other leaving in name only over the line.
who would have thought it, well nearly everybody i know from the both sides, has said we would end up in this position in the end.
parliament are a joke.

We have days of the media telling the wider electorate that May should reached out for unity much sooner topped off with Kunsberg Brexit reflection last night. Any failure will be Mays for not reaching out sooner.

If I were a Tory Brexiteer, I'd be expecting Tory Brexit ministers to resign and bring Mays government down, let's have some danglies and principles from you!

But for that to happen, parliament has got to take over control from the government in a way that's never happened before. It's OK to take control for a day to bring forward motions that are not policy. This is different. This will be setting parliamentary precedent.

The one thing for certain, with Bercow at the helm, if it suits his interests anything can happen.

Resign from what? We havnt really got a Government have we?

Well we do now, Corbyn has responded to Mays mayday call after all he is a proper Parlimentarian despite the saltyness. However, if Brexit ministers resigned on mass it would bring her down. Anyway Gove is on the media circuit trading his principles and danglies in and supporting May unity call. So she stays for now.

I think the normal party stuff, like cabinets and that, are irrelevant now. The whole cabinet could resign, as could the shadow cabinet, it wouldnt change a thing.

That said, what has Corbyn said?

No deal should happen but won't happen. The EU will allow us to stay as long as we want. Don't believe a word of their rhetoric. They would love us to revoke article 50. They are terrified of us leaving. They are terrified of losing our 39 billion.

This is heading towards either a lengthy delay and an election or the softest of brexits and an election.
lollollollollol

He needs her WA to get his Customs Union and single Market access.

I'm.not sure where the notion has arrived from that Corbyn is pro EU?
One of the fundamental problems with this is the disconnect between the two main party leaders and their memberships. The Tories have a membership who seem to be mainly hard Brexiteers but whose leader is essentially pro-Remain whilst Labour has a membership who seem to be largely Remain but whose Leader has been anti-EU for most of his career.

Something about Custom Union which is pretty consistent, and wants to support all people whoever they vote for, the normal non partisan stuff from him. Which will be lost on sycophants from other parties.
