He knows exactly what he is doing. Incredible that people think he represents their interests.

Bonkers that in this country you can utter some biblical or classical reference in a posh voice and people lap it up.

Better this, than Dianne Abbott adding up?

Personally I think JRM speaks alot of sense, if you can allow yourself to see past his posh voice and privileged upbringing. Cancel HS2 and invest the money in North's railway network for example.

It is embarasing now.

None want the deal on the table.

None want anyone else's choices

None want to revoke article 50

None want to take it to a second referedum

None want a no deal

And all they can keep referring to is voting for the PM deal for the 4th time despite none of them wanting it for the past 3 occasions.

Wow.

He had essentially been sacked by his local party tbf.

This is heading in the inevitable direction of an election.
Genuine question about this, what difference does a general election make?

We will still get the same MPs in there, who can't decide on what they want. May even get the same party in charge despite being massively weakened due to their own hostility to each other. No new leader can renegotiate a deal, certainly not in 2 weeks AND get it passed in the house.

It would be a waste of time.

FFS just take the no deal and then have the elections. That way the nonsense is finished with for the short term and the government can go back to running the damn country.

We could have two referendums. As it happens, it might make more sense to have the second referendum after the renegotiation is completed.
