One of the reasons of why during the sixties the U.K was hoping to join was [...] b) sabotage: member states were talking about further integration, on an agricultural level etc... . They feared a powerful political block. So the best thing to do was join; that way you could influence the plans or torpedo them.

You've been watching 'Yes Minister as well!

I honestly don't think they are ..

its not like every single voter watches every single question time and peston..

for every @Bruce Wayne there is a @Joey66

the people In The Know, aka the government don't even know what they want , so saying that the majority of the country has a much better idea after what weve just been through doesn't add up.

the government should just get on with what was instructed, as per their job, and deliver it.

we are just watching Pollitian's positioning themselves before the country to save their own jobs.
Problem is over the past 2 years the government and Parliament have consistently shown us that they don’t have a clue on how to deliver Brexit.

Their negotiation skills are pathetic matched only by their misplaced arrogance at believing that Europe should bow down to mighty Great Britain.

The result being that the EU team ran rings round us whilst our bunch of losers spent their time chatting wham in the HOC whilst pursuing their own selfish ideals.

Enough is enough...let the people decide our own future because those neckless gimps in Parliament sure as hell can’t.

what if we vote and the government / May, STILL do not want what was voted for, lets just say the vote of 'hard Brexit ' wins

they STILL wont deliver on it.

afterall that is what they are doing right now.

Think people have a bit more of an understanding of it, you are bound to get a little just by osmosis when it is on 24/7. Of course you will get plenty that will vote for no deal Brexit just because. You will get some that will just to end the purgatory.

But I would be very surprised if no deal has a majority in this country. So how can it be called the will of the people?

The real problem is that with the alternatives you might as well just stay in the EU. Hence why we are in this pickle.

I don't understand the point of all these various votes planned to take place on alternatives.

I don't see any of them having a majority in parliament. There is no majority for anything in there. This parliament is the problem. It can't function. It needs put out of its misery.

And replaced with what? Another one, with largely the same balance and faces?

It's not a clean break, and not worth £39 billion also nothing concrete on legal conditions on a fair trade deal......
Money upfront - the way it stands we could be arguing a decent trade deal for many years hence stuck in the EU....

We cant talk about a trade deal until we leave though. Thats why the WA has the 2 year time frame to achieve that. The money is what we owe.

Exactly.

Party politics in this country is broken.

But yes I do still agree with the principle of having another election when the government has no authority to pass legislation. That's what should happen. Unfortunately the whole system is in a mess and nothing would change.

Stop introducing detail. OUT means OUT!

I agree. It is ironic that a mainly non party specific issue is showing the parties in their worst colours.
