Varadkar has tried to play politics with this trying to push to take over NI. He tried the typical ‘I’ve got 26 mates’ and we’re bigger than you, and now he hasn’t a clue what is going to happen. It is way out of his hands and the downside could be enormous for the ROI. The likes of Italy now have far more power over this deal because any delay has to be unanimous and they can try and screw the EU for more financial support or threaten to reject the extension. May has tried threatening her own MP’s with a long delay and is now threatening the EU with a threat to resign and hand over to either a fully fledged Brexit supporter or even worse Corbyn. I don’t gamble, but I would think that we will now delay until the end of June, but who knows....
Varadkar and his party, Fine Gael are the least likely people in the ROI to want to ‘take over Northern Ireland’.

What a pointless speech that was tonight?! She’s reached a new low. I’d rather we left with no deal than to give her the satisfaction of getting her deal through. And I think that would be a complete disaster for our country.
