Oh dear, I think a lot of people who were undecided will now make up their minds.

Of course, as @peteblue suggested, the days of playing the victim and blaming the EU for all our woes rather than the politicians in the UK who got us into this mess are long gone (or something like that). It is literally never the fault of anyone who campaigned for Brexit that things aren't going well. It's the EU to blame, or the civil service, or 'remoaner MPs', or people like you and I who 'don't support Britain', or the bias media. Literally anyone but the person facing them each morning in the mirror.

I knew what I voted for. I expected my government to negotiate, even though I expected the civil service to undermine it, I really didn’t believe they were this incompetent........

It's not they are incompetent it's more they were given task and asked to make good on promises from others that were always unachievable.

And the EU has been very restrained up to know considering some of jibes that have come Brexit politicians. Anyway, this turn of vitriol by some in the EU should be lauded by Brexiteers as it probably means any meaningful negotiations are really over, so take the deal or just leave, but it speaks volumes those championing hard no deal Brexit, suddenly become offended, why are you not celebrating this end of negotiations? This is question open to any Brexiteer!

And Nick Robinson misquoting Tusk (ala Peter Bone) this morning on Radio 4. It really is poor when the flagship current affairs radio program gets things so very wrong.
Been happening for yonks, just as well YOU are savvy/interested enough to supplement and research. Plenty don't. Stopped listening to r4 regularly in the late 90's because of their dumbing-down programme.

Im sure I’ve literally just heard Nicky Campbell on radio 5 talking about and bemoaning people misquoting Tusk whilst simultaneously it seems to be happening on Radio 4 . It’s laughable to be honest

Piece of cake. What could possibly go wrong? It is beyond me how anyone could imagine this is better than staying in the UK and being a force for moderation.

It would be nice if, say, a public service broadcaster, did an easy to understand explainer on this document so people like Joe could understand just what leaving with no deal means. It'd probably be ignored like, but they should at least try.

I see Verhofstadt is getting in the act now with his own lucifer/hell jokes....

Oh how we will laugh. Remainers won’t mind of course, because they agree, but I’ll bet the 17,400,000 people who voted Brexit may just take a different view.

I wanted a deal. Now I don’t and even demand No Deal.....we’ll take a hit, and get over it within a year or two. Now I want to see these insufferable EU politicians take a hit.......

You won't take a hit, Pete.

Not nearly as insulting as starting a thread describing those on the opposite side of the argument as "scummy".
In his defense, there is a thread entitled 'scummy Tories', so it's his mind this is fair game. It's just unfortunate that he didn't have the wherewithal to separate out the groups of people that he disagrees with into separate categories.

Yes but there are supporters of both main political parties on either side of the Brexit argument which invalidates doing that in retaliation for a thread called 'scummy tories'. Starting a thread called 'scummy labour' would have been more appropriate.
