To point out some things:
I have never set any store by the particular rag that has been mentioned following my last post. I have always considered it contemptible, all the more so since it fabricated stories about Colonel H re the Falklands War in 1982 (that particular matter may not be known by some younger posters on here). There are other matters concerning that rag of which we all know. Ergo, I have no interest in any who have worked on that rag.

If there is anything in the vid I posted that is factually incorrect, then please enlighten me. I would be interested to know, to broaden further my knowledge of how the EU works.

As for the odd nasty comment - no surprise there...

I've stated my stance regarding the rag.

I have asked for corrections for anything that has been stated in the vid that is wrong. What is wrong with that?

It appears that you, and others, are still looking to hammer anyone whose views do not conform to your own, and who will not engage in normal discussion. Tell me what information is incorrect in the vid, and i will advance my understanding thereby...

“I don’t think that really can be done. I think that we are really playing with fire.”


Mr Johnson said that voters would feel betrayed if Parliament tried to thwart EU withdrawal.

He said: “I think that people will feel betrayed.

I did watch it and haven’t commented actually but regardless of that you patently refuse to read, listen or watch anything that differs from your stated opinion , you’ve stated that through this thread repeatedly. So I’m not sure you’re in a position to chastise anyone or even point the finger at anyone for not watching .

Voting to Leave the EU is one thing.

But voting for the absolute shambles that has ensued as a consequence of that vote is a whole nother thing.

And anyone who thinks this mayhem is somehow all worthwhile and it is what they envisaged when they voted for Leave wants their head read.

So if you would be minded vote to do it all again then, given your comments about boycotting a Referendum on the Stay In or Out With No Deal scenario, I thank you profusely and in advance for just staying at home and not bothering to vote in favour of playing chicken with the economic prospects of my children, my grandchildren and my country.

Absolutely spot on these MPs now who are trying to change democrocy the next GE will feel it in the ballot box they are conspiring after promising by 6 vote to 1 to have a referendum, and to brexit even in the last GE both main parties manifestos were adamant they would carry out Brexit - what has gone wrong as they seem to know better than 17.4 million people ...... 500 of them voted article 50 through......

I’d actually seen it long before it was posted in this thread Joey.

I’ve never argued that the EU is perfect either, I just think leaving will hurt us and that lots of the assumptions that leave voters based their decision on are pie in the sky.
