It certainly does not work for the UK looking at that tabe...- how is countries like the USA and Canada contribute nothing yet trade freely?

Havnt a clue what the details of their agreements are mate. But if you just look at members contributions IN, without looking at the GDP receipts OUT, you just get a pointless exercise in the value of our membership.

Not in BUPA Bruce I joked about it just the good old NHS being a Socialist and not a wet Liberal......... whos leader sold the Post office down the river in Sir Vince ......

A good old socialist turning to the Daily Mail for graphs Joe?

Could you at least label the axis so we know what on earth that is about?

https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/explainers/eu-divorce-bill
reading that guff its a goodwill gesture we have the right to pay zero and let them take us to court ........

For what must be the millionth time, the 'divorce bill' as you put it, is the UK honouring the spending commitments it signed up to when a member of the EU for the duration of those commitments. It's basically us doing what we said we would do. You expect us to renege on that and then have any standing with any other country in the world in future. I thought you were an honourable man Joe, but maybe not.

We are the 4th/5th biggest contributor - does this table look fair.....

That is how economies work. You know, like the socialist thing of from each according to his ability, to each according to his need? That happens in the UK, with cities like London funding the regions, and it happens in the EU, with wealthy economies supporting the less wealthy. You seriously sound like the worst socialist in the world at times Joe and more like the me me me spivs that are pushing for this debacle.

That's a doomed way to be sovereign Bruce in what the UK people voted for.......

Again, totally ignores the trading benefits for each country.

If they were included, I would guess the table will be inverted. In other words, I would guess that the UK, Germany and France make more money from internal trade than Greece and Latvia do.
Are you suggesting the big greedy countries of the EU have the snouts in the trough ?
