It's a hail Mary strategy really isn't it?

Thing is tho, Singapore is the same size as Ireland and it's corporate tax rate is 5% higher.
The idea of creating a vibrant economic hub depends on all the surrounding countries having developing economies, this is not the case in western Europe.
Slashing taxes at a time of economic upheaval seems almost as shortsighted as calling a Brexit referendum with no idea how to Brexit. So it could happen.
Sorry Bruce, the rant wasn't directed at you, just a random observation.

The thing is, it's kinda the only strategy left unless they go in for high levels of integration with other countries ala the single market, which offends their sovereignty sensitivities. I'm sure it's all been thought out though, even if it's taken a 'remoaner' to come up with the suggestion.

Inflation joke ffs. Joe bought his first house for 50p.
There you go again not putting the @ before my name my first house was worth £8.500 - I knocked the price down to 5 grand and got the work done for £ 1,500 no wonder first signed of the university of life no wonder @Old Blue 2 gets at you......
Please don't take my name in vain taking the p as a mod you should no better.....

I'm being bullied here and no mistake.
Bruce many times I have read through your post and you have not alerted me by using the @ before my username I have pointed that out to you on numerous occasions - it's like in real life someone talking behind your back......
if I had that alert with full knowledge I would have probably used banter back - to see you use my name in a ridicule way just got my back up - its not being bullied Bruce by me its you upsetting posters -I have not been involved in the 50p commemorative Brexit 50p post - yet you involve me by again not using the @ to my user the name - plus its not the first time I have pointed this out to you.....
As a Mod you should know better imo - we are on two sides of the argument, and get on well reasonable , but remember the are less brexiteers on this thread than remainers , and you class yourself as being bullied urm no way, please notify me if you are linking me to a post with the @ before my username it should be forum etiquette Bruce....
