So you've taken a comment about a legitimate concern of many leave voters, and responded with comments about the health of civil servant. Try and stay classy Joe.
A good journalist would take this, invite IDS to an interview and dissect the utter wham he's come out with with solid facts, letting the public see through bias and spin.
Unfortunately, I don't think good journalism is a thing anymore.
Heck, the University of Liverpool's Professor (of EU law) Michael Dougan would be a good start, but it's quite something how many scousers are quite happy to brush him aside as one of them experts we've been told to ignore.
Sky papers were discussing the fact he is an alleged alcholic last night Bruce complain to them ....

They claimed it was more than a rumour Bruce i player it.........
It’s interesting what newspapers show up top of the list if you google it . I’ve no idea if it’s accurate or simply a rumour but if you take it at face value and consider it truthful personally I’d like to think I wouldn’t simply dismiss somebody with an alcohol problem as ‘brandy soaked’ but we’re all different .
Aside from being below the belt, it also had nothing to do with the post I made Joe was responding to.
Evidently it's his favorite tipple, other polictical commentators call him that ok .... if he is ill or has a problem he should stand down - won't make a lot of difference as Barnier is favourite to be given the job.........
Out of interest Which legitimate political commentators call him that ? It seems the president of the United States does and might well use other Language which i wouldn’t dream of and the former foreign secretary says things I find pretty offensive . I’d have thought you told your children growing up it doesn’t matter what other people do .
If he has a problem then I think insulting him about it is a bit below stairs and if he hasn’t then it’s equally cheap surely ?

I can see the heading of that article and I see he’s written for the guardian , I honestly don’t know anything about him mate . I presume he’s somebody whose work you follow ? What’s his story , I seriously know basically not a single thing about him other than he’s french .
