Why would a report on the UK be bothered with what will happen to the EU? And why would you care?
Leavers want the best for the U.K. and the EU? That’s absolutely hilarious lolIndeed, you wouldn’t. And that’s the way is should be seen. However when Remainers say ‘hey look here’s a report that says we are in the crap’ without mentioning the other side of the coin, then it becomes disingenuous. And Leavers care because we actually want the best for both the U.K. and the EU, while Remainers will be celebrating if the U.K. does badly.......

You're looking at it like a political propaganda paper Pete. It's not, it's an academic analysis of how exporters in the UK have responded since the vote to leave. It's meant to inform how we think about the potential of exporters, and how they're responding to the various scenarios that have manifested themselves during those two years. Rather than speculating as to some mystical future behaviour of British companies, it's looking at the here and now, which you'd hope might be valuable, except there is a maddening desire to block out any information that doesn't support your point of view. Danny Kahneman must love all of this.
I put it up as it was in the Economist, which I read this morning. Had they covered a similar analysis from the eu's perspective, I'd have shared that, but they didn't.
So given that report was a review of actual facts, he should go looking for an alternative set of facts in the interests of balance? Then I look forward to you finding, reading and sharing the other view.....
17.4 million right wingers then I don't think so a third of that vote came from labour supporters........"Even my goldfish knows that the Eu are really slave traders and the only way to escape them is to blindly follow that nice erg's right-wing coo."
Quite right Joey, but that's what we are likely getting because people like yourself rally around empty slogans rather than constructively moving on and thinking about what we want to achieve by Brexit.17.4 million right wingers then I don't think so a third of that vote came from labour supporters........
Do you think that 17.4m people voted for the extreme no deal Brexit that is now being pushed by the likes of Rees Mogg?17.4 million right wingers then I don't think so a third of that vote came from labour supporters........
YawnDo you think that 17.4m people voted for the extreme no deal Brexit that is now being pushed by the likes of Rees Mogg?
Do you think that the working class would have voted for this if they’d have been made aware of the economic ‘thinking’ behind this chosen path i.e. that of Minford and his admission that manufacturing and farming would be virtually wiped out in this country?
