A £9.3m pro-EU publicity blitz by David Cameron's government in the run-up to the Brexit referendum gave the Remain side an unfair advantage, the like of which should be outlawed in future votes, an independent commission has suggested...........

Why would a report on the UK be bothered with what will happen to the EU? And why would you care?

Indeed, you wouldn’t. And that’s the way is should be seen. However when Remainers say ‘hey look here’s a report that says we are in the crap’ without mentioning the other side of the coin, then it becomes disingenuous. And Leavers care because we actually want the best for both the U.K. and the EU, while Remainers will be celebrating if the U.K. does badly.......

Leavers want the best for the U.K. and the EU? That’s absolutely hilarious lol

Didn’t Rees Mogg label them the Mafia yesterday to much applause from the Express and the Daily Hate?

Disingenuous you say.......

You're looking at it like a political propaganda paper Pete. It's not, it's an academic analysis of how exporters in the UK have responded since the vote to leave. It's meant to inform how we think about the potential of exporters, and how they're responding to the various scenarios that have manifested themselves during those two years. Rather than speculating as to some mystical future behaviour of British companies, it's looking at the here and now, which you'd hope might be valuable, except there is a maddening desire to block out any information that doesn't support your point of view. Danny Kahneman must love all of this.

No Bruce. I understand the purpose and value of the paper, it’s just part of our understanding. But you and I know that you didn’t put it up just as another piece of information, but I will apologise if you did so. Like I said, if you put up a similar piece showing the effect upon the EU I would have been more impressed......

WTO seems the only way out for the U.K. Not only do they want a divorce settlement they want big contributions each year no UK government will vote for that even Labour MPs...........

"Even my goldfish knows that the Eu are really slave traders and the only way to escape them is to blindly follow that nice erg's right-wing coo."

17.4 million right wingers then I don't think so a third of that vote came from labour supporters........
Do you think that 17.4m people voted for the extreme no deal Brexit that is now being pushed by the likes of Rees Mogg?

Do you think that the working class would have voted for this if they’d have been made aware of the economic ‘thinking’ behind this chosen path i.e. that of Minford and his admission that manufacturing and farming would be virtually wiped out in this country?
