Tubey, don't jump to conclusions. I am not alarmed by immigration. What I am alarmed about is when people like Blair and Merkel wake up one morning and think it would be a good idea to open the doors and let everyone in. No planning, which means in fairly short order the infrastructure is creaking. Housing, Jobs, NHS, schools, etc., etc., You don't have to take my word for it, it has happened before your eyes. The thing that really pisses me off is that the Blair's and Merkel's are not affected by it, eg Blair with his multiple homes, private medical cover and so wealthy he doesn't need a job. (Tell me he's not a socialist!). In fact, just to digress, there is a pattern here. Gordon Brown destroyed final salary pensions, didn't affect his pension though, nor that of all the other MP's. Talk about 'champagne socialists'.

So... you're alarmed by immigration then?

It was easy for many brexiteers. They don't want those immigrants from Africa and the middle east freely moving through the EU and going to Britain.

He even mentions that himself.
That's a ridiculous statement, controlled immigration is about skill factors not race or religion of any kind so we are getting back to everyone who voted Brexit is a racist undertones - pathetic......
you only have to go to the NHS - to realise every creed of person is needed!
its harder being in the EU for other people outside the EU who are needed because of an open door policy of the EU free movement written in their treaty ......

Our plan for Brexit.

We're delivering on the democratic decision of the British people. The Prime Minister has set out a realistic and practical vision that delivers the referendum decision in full.
As we leave the EU, free movement is coming to an end, the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice will no longer apply, and the days of sending vast sums of money to Brussels every year are over for good.
This plan is a good deal for Britain, for the British people and for businesses in this country. However, if we cannot reach agreement with the EU, the Prime Minister is clear that no deal remains better than a bad deal and preparations for this are being intensified.
Our plan for the right Brexit for Britain means:
1.
Leaving the European Union on 29th March 2019.

2.
A complete end to freedom of movement, taking back control of our borders.

3.
An end to the jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice in the UK, restoring the supremacy of British courts.

4.
No more sending vast sums of money each year to the EU – instead a Brexit dividend to spend on domestic priorities like our long-term plan for the NHS.

5.
Frictionless trade in goods and flexibility on services.

6.
No hard border between Northern Ireland and Ireland – or between Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

7.
A Parliamentary lock on all new rules and regulations.

8.
A commitment to maintain high standards on consumer and employment rights and the environment.

9.
Leaving the Common Agricultural Policy and the Common Fisheries Policy.

10.
The freedom to strike new trade deals around the world – and we’re already consulting on these.

11.
Continued security co-operation to keep our people safe.

12.
An independent foreign and defence policy.
Over the last two years we have examined every possible vision of Brexit.
This is the right Brexit for Britain.

For the love of god not all of you. Some of you (again not you specifically you as in fellow brexiteers in case that wasn't clear) voted on fear and hatred.

The UKIP are not about immigrants at all especially those coming from the middle east and africa. They pursued this angle and spread fdear and hatred.

Take your blinkers off please.

We already know that was one of the key factors for many of the brexit people. Again not all of you but many.

Separate yourself it may not be your view. Again what i was quoting also that a fellow brexit supporter on here recently just alluded to freedom of movement from Africans and the middle east is something they didn't want to see.

Also not sure were many of you feel that the EU means free movement of all including non EU. It doesn't work like that. Those from Africa and the middle east are asylum seekers mainly. They technically are supposed to stop and declare themselves in the first port of entry such as Italy and Greece but are not doing that. They are dangerously walking through Europe to seek refuge in better and more forgiving countries or those that they think they can live in.

That's a worldwide migration problem whether we were members of the EU or not as the EU have handled that problem badly.....

.wheres the questionnaire for Labour voters Brexit is not exclusive to Tories.....

That's a worldwide migration problem whether we were members of the EU or not as the EU have handled that problem badly.....

Right, i never said it wasn't but we are not talking about the rest of the world are we?

You said that no brexit person voted on fear and possible racism of any sort and i put it too you that some did and basically you have admitted why that's possible see the highlighted portion of your own comment.

Are you happy to admit that maybe just maybe some were afraid that Britain was getting over run. Like a couple of your fellow brexit supporters have admitted in the previous pages and this could have led to their vote?

I think that's why they've done so poorly and lost so much potential support. Since the vote it should have been 'what do we want to achieve, and what' s the best way to effect it' - but the tories committed hubris by seizing it for themselves as a means to further their ideology (quite predictably), and their woes stem from this.

Brexit had several reasons to leave the EU no one was the Polictical EU berocratic expensive mess with no sovereigntyto the UK.
No 2 was immigration free movement other reasons like the UK wanting to trade worldwide
There were many reasons why I voted Out to label anyone on here as a racist with out proof is against forum rules....
Imo,you are dredging low in the barrel to try and make a point...
Remember Brexit is now an act of Parliment, and I for one think, the UK needs a good deal and we should leave the EU as democrocy should be adhered too from the referendum- I will admit when we leave it will be bumpy but will settle down like it was when we joined the common market , and yes I voted twice Yes to join it - not for a bullying polictical union !
Making the UK rule takers and a membership fee that continues to rise every year !
Also the way they treated Greece , Italy , and others it's not the B All, and others you claim it is.....
In fact I hope we get out before it goes into more chaos!

I hate the Tories - yet where is Labours Brexit plan it changes by the hour you cannot be in the single market or a customs union as we are still in the EU - let's see if this white paper makes any sense ;)

There are an estimated 800,000 or so job vacancies in the UK, so yes, hypothesizing that 10 million Chinese folk will rock up is rather silly. If you'd said would I be happy if 800,000 overseas nationals moved to the UK, sure I would.

Yes, there are two sides to migration, but you've overlooked the flow of knowledge and capital that comes with migration. A nice example from my wife's team in the NHS - she had a colleague who was Gambian. He was trained as a lawyer I believe, but worked in an admin role for several years. You might say that has taken skills from Gambia, but he's recently returned to Gambia to take up a very senior government position that he had obtained in large part because of his experience working in the UK. This kind of thing is hugely beneficial, before even mentioning things like remittances. It's no coincidence that eastern European countries have seen huge growth in their GDP since joining the EU, despite large numbers of their citizens migrating west.

Pleased at least that with 800,000 job vacancies you appear to recognise that the Conservative party are the party of job creation.
