Telegraph......

The Prime Minister is on Monday expected to announce that she will boost NHS funding by around 3 per cent a year as part of a "multi-year" settlement to mark its 70th anniversary.

She is expected to say that the rise will be funded in part by a "Brexit dividend" - one of the Leave campaign's central pledges during the EU referendum”.............

Yeah that Littlejohn he’s a an absolute card . my mum used to say be careful who you knock around with as you’ll be judged by the company you keep . Littlejohn , farage , Banks and the rest they’re all loathsome creatures and when they’re your company maybe you need new friends ,

Joe, OldBlue et al are still good Labour folk though, despite agreeing with something lauded by every far-right maniac in Europe.

Hahahaha, what Brexit dividend is this?

I hope she shows her workings out

Or you could just be happy that another £4Bn is going into the NHS......or would you refuse to be treated because some of the money came as a result of Brexit.......
call it what they like pete it good news for the NHS glad they need it, they should just put a few pence on taxes to give it a real boost, well thats if the ring fenced it for that reason.

Bruce it's the rich large companies that want the EU the CBI even get funds off the EU .....
It's our membership money they tell us how to spend or imo waste our money .......

I'm confused then Joe, as you keep saying that the EU is holding back the British economy and once free from its shackles we'll be able to trade with the world, yet above you say that the companies who will be doing that trading want to stay in the EU. It can't be both, can it?

About time they started to address the underfunding of the NHS.

However, the claim by the Express (stop laughing at the back) that the cash being used is somehow a result of Brexit, is completely disingenuous, as it’s completely untrue. Shame on you for trying to peddle that deliberate lie Pete, you’re much smarter than that, so it’s not as if you don’t realise that it can’t be factual.

It was from the Telegraph (stop laughing at FLHD at the back)......

Bruce we give them 18 billion they rebate us money for agriculture grants etc it's our money - I have seen the waste projects that are hideous, wastefull and never get used - if one of our governments did that they could be voted out..... not the bureaucratic EU...... they are a cash cow which the rich thrive off.......
farmers at first did very well out of the common market with the food mountains ie getting paid for food that was not needed - Butter mountains wheat mountains - wine mountains etc etc where you around then - now the tables have reversed on the UK as the agricultural grants have diminished , but not in Northern France where a farmer with a few sheep and one pig qualifies for a massive grant......
I remember the UK sheep being burnt on the french borders, as they did not want our better lamb ....
It's a farce Bruce to think the UK could not make its own way in the world!
the rich remainers were seen in London with Greave getting him to thwart Brexit he was on QT last night utter posh Lawyer talk drivel - he want to stay in and will fetch negotiations down with 8 other Tories......
it's been handled very badly by May her GE was a disaster and for Corbyn who should have won if he had been a decent socialist......

I think that’s the intention, probably to not cut income tax and then retain the current levels at which tax is paid, thereby generating more money in the years to come.....

You’ve bought into yet another lie Joey. The CBI isn’t funded by the EU at all, it receives a small annual payment that is ringfenced for them to produce surveys complied by British businesses. The EU contribution is less than 1% of its turnover, most of the remainder is provided by its members - British businesses. 80% of whom wanted to stay in the EU, so the CBI merely reflects that FACT. The idea that their view has somehow been bought is utterly ludicrous and peddled by disingenuous frauds like Rees Mogg.

The EU don’t tell us how to spend the cash available via ERDF they merely provide an outline, the actual projects funded are decided in the UK by UK decision makers.
