Really that's why court cases take place then for loss of hearing?
Do a Bruce and google it!

I googled it nothing serious, especially the new generations (btw I was wrong; they are in fact 1 km from my house).

"The balance of scientific evidence and human experience to date clearly concludes that wind turbines are not harmful to human health. In fact, wind energy provides electricity without emitting greenhouse gases or air pollutants, and uses no freshwater to generate electricity – creating a healthier environment for people and wildlife." (https://ses.library.usyd.edu.au/bitstream/2123/10559/7/WindHealthReviews_3.pdf)

"A review of 60 research studies conducted worldwide on wind turbines and human health was published in the Frontiers in Public Health – June 2014 and the authors concluded that the weight of evidence suggests that when sited properly, wind turbines are not related to adverse health effects in humans though they may be source of annoyance for some people." (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpubh.2014.00063/full)

"Which found that wind turbine noise exposure was not associated with self-reported medical illnesses and health conditions." (https://www.canada.ca/en/health-can...rbine-noise-health-study-summary-results.html)

https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2017/06/wind-turbine-syndrome/530694/

Etc...

So in conclusion it's okay; it's far worse to live in proximity of a busy road or something. Oh unless you're a bat, they kill heaps of bats. This form of wind-milling is more dangerous:

My claim was in Horticulture the Dutch Horticultural industry was subsidised Thanks for letting the posters who have argued all day it was not!
Their Horticulture industry is their main business so obviously they get taken care of more than the UK!
Again it's funded by the EU it is crapping itself over Brexit just read the Dutch flower market may take a hit great stuff!

Eh yes they give extra subsidies (on top of the EU ones who are available to everyone in the EU) but in an allowed form. As long as you stay within the competition rules you can do whatever you want to. Nothing's stopping the U.K from doing the same you know; for all I know they might already be doing it (I don't know). And horticulture is not the main industry in the Netherlands; it's quite small honestly.

The E.U isn't funding anything special as a result of Brexit. Whatever Brexit might be.

The
What did you do exactly btw Joey? Genuine question!

Joining in with the Xmas festivities wishes here too, a happy one to all :)
started off as apprentice student nurseryman rose to nursery superintendent moved all over the UK to gain promotion gained management qualifications NEBBS - Horticultural qualifications member of the institute of Horticulture on retirement
My main gift was the propagation of plants and growing them it was imo a profession!
Happy to one and all too all on this thread;)

Well that's 100 percent correct; you get subsidies to market your product in foreign markets etc.... The Dutch are very good at presenting themselves (if you ask something; they always say: "yes we can, yes we are...). Mind you it's not always correct - overconfidence. They made a big fuss because they supposedly created a law book in record time etc... In reality a huge chunk was still missing, but it was never picked up or reported in foreign media. Excellent marketeers.

Thank you; a happy Christmas to you too mate!
