The leader of the WTO Bruce only last week stated he thought the UK would do well in trade deals outside the EU.and our economy would grow so why are you banging on thinking you know everything?
too much googlinglol

I've no doubt at all that Britain will get some trade deals. We're a very large economy with a significant science base, a global financial centre and so on. You don't seem to get the fact that the value from trade deals come less from reducing tariffs however, as they're already pretty low, but rather from non-tariff things such as shared standards and regulations. In other words, trade deals only really give value if you cede sovereignty over various things.

All this nonsense about regaining control whilst trading with the world is fantasy land. It's akin to the FA saying they want English clubs to play in Europe but won't work with UEFA to ensure they all play by the same rules. The FA tried that route, bless them, but have thankfully come to their senses. It's a shame that the British public have gone back 50 years.

And you should also be under no illusions, because our integration with Europe is so much deeper than we'll get with any trade deal, either with them or elsewhere, that we're bound to lose. As Barnier said this week, financial integration is almost certainly off the table. There's no trade deal that comes close to replicating things like Horizon 2020. And of course you've got the humdinger of complaining about regulations whilst burdening businesses with red tape if they want to bring in talented people from overseas, just because people get funny about having dumplings for sale on their high street.

You seem to know so much thats all i am saying yet pity 17.4 million disagreed with your findings!
oh also as our GDP increases our membership goes up they even tried to pull this stunt on our black economy - cash in hand etc - I watch politic shows most days so please do not try to blind me with you illogical Growth science!
What’s illogical about the EU seeking to encourage economic growth in its poorest nations so that over time their consumption grows and the collective benefits from this growth?

However given that you don’t understand that our Treasury will be down by an amount larger than our net contribution by 2019, that’s hardly a shocker

Your arguments are paper thin Joey, and when shown to be thus, you just revert to 17.4m voted OUT! which is not a logical argument for justifying the points that YOU’RE making mate

You get back to your studies stop moonlighting off!
If you achieve half the qualifications I got at work - you may do well in life!

Haha!! The whole i'm better than you card with the "look at me with my many years experience... blah blah blah...."

You know how ageist that sounds Joey? Reverse ageism got to love it.

Saying stuff like that doesn't make you smarter nor does it validate your posts.

Do you even know the lad personally? Or was it another poor taste of a joke
