The comments by Barnier today kinda sum things up in a nutshell don't they? Very little has changed in their stance or their message in the last couple of years, but whereas during the campaign itself the notion of not getting a bespoke deal or things not being easy was #projectfear. Since the vote, the notion of not getting a bespoke deal and things not being easy is those meanies in the EU bullying us.

Summed it up in one you vote out to get away from bullies!

We had democracy you and others on this thread cannot accept it end of!

Oh those polls they are always spot on - if you remember Remain was supposed to win by that margin in the real referendum ......
people now who voted OUT are miffed it has dragged on so long and how the negotiations will drag on for years when article 50 should have been signed a week after the vote!

But you voted Out so we can make our own rules and that. Our elected Parliament are doing just that Joe. Dont see why you should be fuming.

That doesn’t make sense.

Cameron decided we should decide whether to leave or remain. Why can’t the democratic will of the people allow there to be another vote ?

Democracy when it suits you isn’t democracy.
We had the vote even a general election is five years fixed term don't see anyone moaning to have another on a moth afterwards like Brexit!
That's why they are labled Remoaners!

The time scale - project fear etc it's still on this thread - the economy was supposed to go over the cliff - the new budget needed immediately by Gideon Osborne the day after etc etc!

But we are not actually moaning Joe. We are questioning the whole thing. Totally different. You and a few others are all to quick to label us as such, without actually responding to valid questions in any other way than "Get over it" etc etc. Earlier I asked you why you dont like our elected Parliament deciding how this should all be done. You havnt responded.

I find that strange.

So. If not our elected Parliament to work all this out, who?

Labour are using Brexit to gain power- they shift like the tide - they pushed article 50 through no problem now riding back on it fair enough rather have seen Brexit done on a cross party basis using it like a Polictical football is costing everyone dear cash wise as we are dealing with the devil of the EU!
Labours leader is not a great EU lover nor his Chancelor - this could have been handled far better May has made a complete Horlicks of it imo it will drag on for years - I am all for Parliment voting Brexit through not using it to gain power!
A lot of MPs from Labour and torys ignored the vote of their constitutes the other night - that is not democracy it's ignorance to delay Brexit!

But. Its our elected Parliament making the rules. Thats what you wanted.

The referendum was Yes or No. Not How and When.

You cant have it both ways. The Referendum delivered an Out vote. Parliament deal with the rest. So, if the terms/timescale are not to your approval, then you will just have to accept the will of Parliament.

That's poor, our mp also ignores the fact we voted remain...

not having it both ways I stated if that May got a standing ovation the other night it would worry me I do not want my Parliment to bicker and wave a white flag or cock up us leaving in any long winded vote I did say from day one oaf the put. One it should have been done from a crossparty basis!
I am afraid the EU are winning the Polictical battle ATM!
